NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) - HelpLine 

For Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health 

NAMI is a NON profit organization which can not only provide support for the person dealing with the mental illness but also the family members and support persons of the patient.  They have many resources available as well as a helpline: 800-950-6264, text ‘NAMI’ to 62640, or email.  https://www.nami.org/nami-helpline/ 

There are many FREE resources available to anyone who has a substance use disorder.    The following resources are all either federal or state funded sites.  Navigating "the system" is often half the battle.
